First, I’d like to thank Angel for the comments…seems that she’s the only audience of this blog…anyway, I like this quiet place ^o^ I wonder how things are going on at Rider…

It’s almost one month since I started my intern. I spent one week to get my WWID approved and two weeks to get my desktop set-up, somehow, people still say that I’m lucky because they say it usually takes more than two weeks…

Now it’s almost one month…I still have no access to SAP/Lynx… man…I need that access to get my jobs done…I just don’t know what took them so long…

The apartment I’m living right now is nice, except that I’ll have to deal with those little bugs coming from the parks down the road. People are nice to each other…at least they will greet when they meet. There’s one old man who’s really interesting.  His name is Michael. He has a Honda Accord. It’s a pretty new and nice looking car. I always see Michael wash and wax his car but seldomly see him driving it around. Today I met him again. He’s doing old things, keeping his car as shining as a mirror. He said he was parking his car at the little park nearby. The seeds falling from the trees messed his car up again. So he’d clean his car and wax it again. Michael’s always standing in front of his car and just look at it. When people passing by, he always repeat how something messed with his car and he has to wash and wax it. Again and again…Anyhow, Michael is a nice person. Sociable and kind. Seems that everyone knows Michael, maybe because he’s too talktive…lol

I did spend time enjoy the summer though ^o^ Last weekend, I watched Spiderman 3 and Pirates of the Caribbeans 3. The weekend before that, I went to the Six Flags. I’d like to go to the beach though…when I have time.

The weather’s getting hot, which means the number of the bugs are increasing. I’m gonna think of a way to deal with that…

This week is rather a horrible week for me. A lot of things happened…and I think I’ve made one of the biggest mistakes in my life…hope I can be forgiven…I’m willing to do everything to remedy things up…

Anyway, back to work, my computer was down and I lost a lot of important files. I’ll have to re-pick them up.  I’ve added widgets to my page and hopefully this time the podcasting can run correctly.

I’ll continue to do vodcast.

OpenOffice has its own formula making application. The name of the application is OpenOffice Math.exe. It can be easily found under X:\OpenOffice\. In fact, we can add a formula to any type of OpenOffice documents. Here’s a example of how to insert formula using OpenOffice Writer:

Go to Insert >> Object >> Formula. The Window should change to this once you click the Formula.

Make sure you open the Selection window under View for easier editing.

Now you should be able to add any formula you want. You can change the Font Size under Format menu if the formula is too small to see.

I encounted a problem last week. My IE 7.0 would automatically close down as soon as I open it. There’s no error messenge. I searched thru the websites but found nothing. I guessed something’s wrong with the Windows update. So I tried to download the set-up file from Microsoft website using Firefox. The problem was fixed after I re-install IE 7.0.
